About Dr. Peters
Since graduation from UCLA Medical School in 1970, Dr. Peters has passionately pursued the meaning of health in body, mind and spirit. This diverse training and personal experience from doctors, healers, psychologists and spiritual teachers has birthed MindBody Medicine Center. Many psychologists understand the mind, but not so much the body. And, doctors focus on the body with little understanding of the governing influence of the mind. Dr. Peters and his staff provide a unique and powerful experience of mindbody healing not found elsewhere.
Dr. Peters is an experienced speaker and lectures frequently on a range of health topics. You can arrange for him to speak with your organization on any topic that you like. From lectures to experiential workshops, he can assist you and your organization to experience the powerful world of mindbody healing.
In the last decade we have expanded the application of acupuncture to include a ‘needless’ technique which uses vibratory frequencies in the form of micro-current, sound, and or light to stimulate the acupuncture points and balance the energy.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has listed 104 conditions that may be benefited from acupuncture treatment and in addition, the National Institute of Health (NIH) concluded that acupuncture can help with: post-operative and chemotherapy nausea and vomiting, addiction and stroke rehabilitation, anti-depression, anxiety attacks, mouth ulcers, chronic fatigue, and low immunity.
You can schedule Dr. Peters, or any member of the Center staff, to speak using a variety of educational/experiential formats on any topic that you wish. Presentations include:
- Lectures (PowerPoint)
- Group discussions
In addition to the lectures listed below, other topics include:
- Chinese medicine and acupuncture
- Harmonic medicine
